Stacie's Coke Salad

Every so often new people join your family, in this case, my son’s new fiancee Stacie. And they bring their holiday favorites with them which then become part of your treasured family recipes. Here is Stacie’s Coke Salad, a dessert that hails from Texas.

Ingredients

• 1 large package cherry jello
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1 cup Coke
• 1 jar Maraschino cherries diced
• 1/4 cup Maraschino cherry juice

Steps

1. In a 9x11 glass pan, make jello with 1 cup boiling water and stir two minutes until it dissolves.
2. Add coke and cherry juice and stir again.
3. Refrigerate for 45 minutes.
4. Add diced cherries equally over the surface of the pan.
5. Refrigerate until firm.
